Death Ball (デスボール, Desu Bōru) is a Super Attack used by Frieza.
Overview[]
Frieza charges up a large, black and purple ball of energy and fires it toward the ground at a 45° angle. If this move is used on the ground, Frieza will jump into the air in order to throw the ball. This projectile deals extra damage the longer it is active, meaning that the higher the attack is launched from, the more extra damage it can deal. Opponents hit by the projectile will be carried towards the explosion when it reaches the ground.
The distance Frieza throws the projectile can be determined by which input triggers the attack. Inputting 
+ 
launches the ball towards the middle of the screen, and inputting 
+ 
throws it towards the edge of the screen.
