Janemba (ジャネンバ Janenba) is a downloadable playable character in Dragon Ball FighterZ. He was revealed alongside Gogeta (SSGSS) during the EVO 2019 Event on August 3, 2019 as the fourth downloadable fighter in the FighterZ Pass 2. Janemba was released on August 8, 2019, almost three months after the release of Goku (GT) on May 9th, 2019. He can be purchased for 4.99$ or by buying the FighterZ Pass 2.
Biography[]
Janemba is the main antagonist in the twelfth movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn, the only Dragon Ball Z film to be rated by the Motion Picture Association of America. The demon was created as a result of the Soul Cleansing Machine exploding, causing the the evil souls to manifest into a yellow giant called Janemba with a childlike behavior inside the Saike Demon. Janemba later transforms into a smaller form named Super Janemba that manages to overpower both Super Saiyan 3 Goku and later on Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta, forcing the two Saiyans fuse into Gogeta with the Fusion Dance. Gogeta then proceeds to turn the tables on Janemba and wipes the demon out with his Stardust Breaker attack, bringing back the Saike Demon.

- Prior to his official reveal, Janemba was announced by both Microsoft and Nintendo, confirmed by Microsoft when they replied to a comment that someone made about Microsoft "accidentally leaking Janemba."
- Janemba is the third movie character to be DLC in Dragon Ball FighterZ.
