Super Dash Kick (スーパーダッシュキック) is a special move used by Super Saiyan Vegeta, Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, and Vegeta.
Overview[]
Vegeta (Super Saiyan)[]
The variant has Super Saiyan Vegeta perform a charging kick. On hit or block, Vegeta will rebound off the opponent.
The variant has Super Saiyan Vegeta perform three consecutive kicks, with the last kick knocking the opponent away. If the last kick is blocked, Vegeta will instead pass through the opponent.
The variant has Super Saiyan Vegeta go fullscreen. On hit, the opponent is launched upwards, in a similar fashion to Tien's Dodon Ray. If blocked, Vegeta will still pass through the opponent. However, due to the extreme range, it is effectively impossible to punish him on blocked.
Vegeta (SSGSS)[]
The version used by Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta is divided into three different inputs. Each input has a light, medium, and heavy variant, and can be interchanged in any order (i.e., one could perform a medium for the 1st input, a the light variant for the 2nd input and a heavy input for the 3rd input). Additionally, it's possible to simply not give an additional input and cancel out the combo between any two inputs. An interesting note is that Vegeta is considered grounded when using this move.
1st Input[]
The variant travels the shortest distance.
The variant travels a considerable distance farther.
The variant has a larger hitbox, does the more damage, and adds extra damage to all follow-up kicks.
2nd Input[]
The variant has Vegeta perform a single kick. It does the least damage, but scales the combo for fewer hits.
The variant has Vegeta perform three consecutive kicks that does a considerable amount more damage at the cost of having more startup.
The variant works similarly to the variant but deals more damage and has Vegeta pass trough the opponent on hit or block. Much like the variant from the 1st input, extra damage will be added for the third input.
3rd Input[]
The variant for the 3rd input kicks the foe away lightly.
The variant has Vegeta pull back before kicking and causes a wallbounce on hit. Has the more startup than the variant but has the least recovery frames.
The variant causes Vegeta to plant his foot on the foe and fly forward, damaging them as he does. Deals the most damage out of the three variants along with causing a wall bounce. Vegeta wikk pass through the opponent on block.
Vegeta[]
The variant has the quickest start-up and recovery frames. However, it deals the least amount of damage, has short range and causes a soft knockdown on hit. Regardless of whether or not this attack is blocked, Vegeta will bounce off the opponent, putting a bit of space between him and the foe. This makes this attack somewhat safe on block.
The variant has longer startup than the variant, but it makes Vegeta travel a longer distance forward along with dealing more damage. THis version also crosses up the opponent on block.
The variant has Vegeta charge forward, but he then teleports behind the opponent and attacks them from behind. This version does the most damage and starts up fairly quickly.
