Ultra Buu Buu Volleyball is Gotenks' level three super attack. Gotenks will fire off a quick volley of Galactic Donuts which travel quickly across the screen. If they hit their mark, they will turn into a ball shaped much like a beehive, trapping the opponent inside. Gotenks will then proceed to hit the ball several times in the air before spiking the ball back down to the ground, causing the ball to explode, releasing its victim. This move can be used in the air or on the ground.

- If Piccolo is present on a team with Gotenks (and not knocked out) he will join in the attack, delivering the second hit of the attack instead of Gotenks. This is exactly as it happened in the anime, with Piccolo being quite embarrassed to participate in such a childish attack. He can be heard saying "Was it really necessary for me to help there?" after the attack is complete. Piccolo's participation has no effect on the damage output of the move: it is purely an aesthetic change.
