Zamasu (Fused) (ザマス (合体), Zamasu (Gattai)) is a fused form of the union between Goku Black and Zamasu through the Potara earrings. He is the third DLC fighter from FighterZ Pass and was released on May 31, 2018 alongside Vegito. He can be purchased for 4.99$(USD) or by buying the FighterZ Pass.

Background

When Goku Black and Zamasu perform a Potara fusion, the two combine to form a dangerous villain that combines unlimited power with unending life. The combination of their bodies and powers also increases their egos in equal measure, as the fused Zamasu considers himself the ultimate god that will purge mortals from all of existence.

Gameplay Synopsis

Zamasu is an oppressive force. He has moves with great range and a variety of them. Versatility is his specialty, although he really needs those humans and their Z-Assists to truly bring out his full potential. That being said, he isn't helpless on his own, and still has multiple powerful tools to bring upon pressure, such as his flight abilities and his lightning strikes.

Trivia

• If Beerus finishes off either Goku Black or Zamasu with God of Destruction's Judgement, they will be completely evaporated, and dissipate into purple particles of energy. This is known as the Hakai.
• Zamasu is not fully immortal. As Zamasu is a deity, and Goku Black is a mortal body with a deity's soul, the Potara fusion is permanent. Furthermore, fusing while Goku Black was utilizing the Super Saiyan Rose form meant his power would be strained. Finally, only one party was immortal. This meant that the being that was created was blessed with powerful regeneration, but was not fully immortal.
• If Zamasu uses Divine Wrath while fighting either Vegeta (SSGSS) or Goku (SSGSS) he will state that the gods are not just those that look like gods.
